ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
An invitation only, “Blue Ribbon” symposium to develop strategies for leveraging emerging HIT evolutions in databases, point-of-care data capture/decision support, and open source technology to dramatically enhance research, diagnostics, and evidence-based care for wounded U.S. Service Members, veterans and ultimately all citizens afflicted by TBI and PTS.
GOALS OF THE SYMPOSIUM
- To create a multi-disciplinary forum for information-sharing and exchange
- To develop a persistent network for sharing, community and collaboration utilizing existing CIR Web 2.0 infrastructure
- To publish a symposium report that has significant impact on future direction of federal health IT
